About Home Farm

Set in 80 acres of glorious English countryside.

With the history of this farm dating back to the Victorian era, the views across the South Downs were as loved back then as they are today.

The owner of Heron’s Ghyll from 1866 to 1874, called Coventry Patmore, opened up the woodland which obscured the view - describing it “as sweet and gracious a line of hills as my eyes ever beheld”

Home Farm has been in our family for around 50 years now and many great memories have been made with our loved ones.

Previously a working farm for cattle, pigs, cart horses and more, we have beautifully converted the stables, barn and pigsties into an authentic weddings & events venue, accommodation and bakery whilst we live in the farm house within the land. The views across the English countryside remain unobstructed, making the perfect backdrop to any occasion.

We wish to share this intimate setting with many possibilities for others to celebrate weddings or events with family and friends.
